Unhappy My 55hp necro problem

I was in UW, i aggro a group of aaxta and then a nightmare pops up. i wand him but he rend my enchants when he had 25% of his life. But i had 5 ecnhants and they all got rend... Normally he can't rend all because of his low health
but how come he rended all?

rend enchantments will rend its max number of enchantments no matter how much life you have. for each monk enchantment you will take damage.

this means he rends it all, and takes a lot more damage than he can sustain

from what I remember, you are supposed to wand the nightmares to death...

Rend takes 3 second to cast, that's enough time to get off 2 wand hit and he dies before rend can complete casting. Although really, I would just try to be careful and there's really only 1 nightmare that's unavoidable and comes with aatxe and that's the one at the beginning.

get a maxed customized cursed wand and it takes 2 to 3 hits to kill one.

You do get the occasional critical and kill a nightmare in one hit. the only nightmare that should typically pop up with ataxxes is the first one which you can trap the ataxxes behind the second ghost, other than that if one pops up in battle and you know you are gonna be rended try running right as the rend goes off this will usually delay the ataxxes attacks and you can throw up ps, breeze, balthazars and save yourself from death(not a fun thing to go through though).

i found the best method
run to a group... aggro the aaxta by running into them... nightmare pops up ---> start the running.... then let him rend enchants en when you see +4energy from soul reping, recast PS, healing breeze, mending,....
works the best and you have the most chance to survive

If you aggro the first group of Aataxe with a wand hit rather than your aggro bubble, you decrease the chances of a Nightmare spawning. They're really not hard to kill though, and a lot of times you can get Prot Spirit up after being Rended if you pay attention.

You need a customized max damage wand to kill them before Rend though.

My method, launch PS aggro the 3 first atxx, that pops up 1/2 nightmares depending of luck I guess. Then not even try to kill cause most of the time the first one is too far, directly run behind a spirit only one atxx will follow and will stay here without attackin then wand the nightmare from my shelter. Recast if needed & reaggro the 2 atxx that went back to their spawning point kill these 3 and go on. Works 100% times for me, just gotta get used.

Good luck
Best regards

Just a quick rewrite in case people get confused by that...

"rend enchantments will rend its max number of enchantments no matter how much life it has or enchantments you have. for each monk enchantment the nightmare will take damage.

this means he rends it all, and takes a lot more damage than he can sustain"
